Sue Chef

From Sue's Website:  "I have always had a great passion for food and eating healthy. In the year 2000 I began Sue Chef, a personal chef service, creating custom healthy meals in the homes of my clients. In 2002 I moved into grocery retail by opening the first ever recreational cooking school in the Mid-West located right in the grocery store.

"Today I have become more committed to eating and cooking healthy after my youngest daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the summer of 05. I learned that by using high quality spices and herbs in my cooking I can make food taste great without adding unhealthy ingredients. That is important whether you are cooking for a diabetic or not. My theory on healthy eating has always been variety and fresh whole ingredients. If you choose unprocessed ingredients that are fresh and high quality your cooking will naturaly be healthy and delicious.

Picnic Basket Gourmet

Easy to make ahead snacks and foods for a great summer time picnic at the beach or on the boat. Sue Chef will demonstrate her Anti Pasta Salad, Foccacia Bread Chicken Sandwich,  and Hummus with Wonton Crisps. Add fresh watermelon salad for a delicious summer time dessert!

Dallas Carlson - Nature & Wildlife Photographer

Dallas Carlson had the privilege of being raised by his grandparents who loved to spend time exploring Michigan's great outdoors. As a child he spent summers either in their cabin by the river, or traveling extensively throughout Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Camping and exploring the rugged beauty of the north year after year, he developed a deep love and passion for the wilderness and the animals that call this place home.

His training has not been through formal teaching or institutions, but rather by wildlife biologists how to respectfully fit in with the wild creatures he is photographing.
